DOUBLE INDEMNITY is directed by Billy Wilder and stars Fred MacMurray as Neff, Barbara Stanwyck as Dietrichson and Edward G. Robinson as Keyes, Walter's co-worker who unlocks the pair's crime. It's based on a 1927 crime perpetrated by a married Queens woman and her boyfriend. The two real-life murderers were quickly identified and arrested, as are their fictional counterparts in this classic noir dramatization, all told in flashback.
